Philanthropy

Proceeds raised from the raffle will support Campus Guardians, a non-profit organization that provides care packages to students who have aged out of the foster system and are currently pursuing higher education.

Campus Guardians, a 501©3 Non-Profit, was founded by Jefferson County Assistant District Attorney Brook Teuber, who has over 20 years of experience working with children within the foster care system. After sending care packages to her own children in college, Brook wanted to send care packages to students that may not otherwise receive this level of emotional or parental support. Students receive five goody-filled care packages a year (each box also includes cards and letters of encouragement written by members of the community), with the goal of supporting and encouraging these students to pursue their educational dreams.
